We seek to appoint a qualified Art Teacher to work in Nottingham on a permanent and full time basis. It is essential that the appointed Teacher will have recent experience in delivering GCSE programmes of study. Recent experience in delivering alternative qualifications for example Functional Skills would also be desirable.
The role will involve the planning and delivery of quality programmes of study to learners who have challenging behaviour and additional needs. Teaching is delivered in 1:1 settings and small nurture groups in a variety of R.E.A.L. Hubs and community environments, so access to a suitable vehicle to transport children is essential. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate high expectations for all young people and have a proven history in achieving outcomes for learners.
The successful candidate should have three years experience of working with children and young people or vulnerable adults within an education institute. You should also be able to evidence and have experience of supporting young people or vulnerable adults with their learning through innovative approaches to lesson delivery.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. We believe that building trust and positive relationships with learners is key to successful intervention. If this is something you believe in, then please contact us for a campaign pack.
