A very rewarding and challenging role has become available for an experienced and person-centred educator to join the R.E.A.L. Education family. R.E.A.L. Education provides both independent special schools placements and market leading alternative education across the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire areas.

Due to geographical expansion and company growth we now have an exciting new vacancies for a Deputy Head Teacher to join us at or independent special school settings in Hinckley and Mansfield

The successful candidate will be part of our schools Senior Leadership team, working closely with our Head of Schools and Heads of Area by providing dynamic and professional leadership and management to reflect the school’s vision, policy and practice. They will also be responsible for developing and motivating staff, setting high expectations, embedding outstanding teaching and learning strategies and raising achievements for learners on the school roll.

In order to apply, you must have at least 3 years experience in a leadership role, ideally in an alternative educational setting. You must have qualified teacher status, be able to demonstrate knowledge of statutory education frameworks including governance, OFSTED EIF and the SEND Code of Practice to a high level and be able to build, communicate and implement a shared vision across a number of settings.
