Your Purpose:

To support Curriculum Leads and Lead Teachers with the planning, preparation and assessment of an innovative and flexible curriculum. To teach 1:1 and small group sessions as required.

To play an active part in the developments of the school by supporting curriculum and development strand leads.

Advocate on behalf of the young people and their families in your care.

To use a collaborative and multi-agency holistic approach to delivering an education provision which includes attention to health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people.

Be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.

Your Impact:

To drive forward improvement strands in a positive way. Encourage learner involvement in the decision making and the management of their programmes to support and maintain high learner engagement levels. A role model for our learners.

Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Salary: £21,600

Hours: Maximum of 37.5 hours per week

Weeks: 39 Working Weeks – Permanent, full-time

Location: East Midlands – One role in Worksop, and one role in Nottingham
